I am a writer from Dublin, Ireland. My writing has been published in The New York Times, Granta, The Guardian, The Cut, The Stinging Fly, online for the BBC, CNN, and in The Irish Times where I write a weekly column on society, politics, and culture, a weekend column on emerging and experimental art, as well as features and interviews, with a particular focus on music journalism.
I am a festival and events curator, programming festivals for Ireland’s National Concert Hall (UTOPIA, 2021), The Gate Theatre in Dublin (The Bechdel Fest, 2023), OneTwoOneTwo (music documentary festival at the Light House Cinema, Dublin), as well as multiple poetry, music, and cultural events at festivals including Beyond The Pale, Body & Soul, Dublin Fringe Festival, Bram Stoker Festival, and more.
I have written extensively on Irish social change and culture, including the books In The Name Of Love (2014, The History Press), and Repeal the 8th (2015, Unbound).
I am an Associate Artist with THISISPOPBABY, with whom I created the immersive solstice audio experience, GRIANSTAD (2022).
